Fomos atendidos pelo Adam, com muita hospitalidade e atenção. O bar é bonito e interessante, com uma decoração que vale a pena visitar. Os chopps são variados e deliciosos. Ótimas porções e hambúrguer saboroso. O ambiente tem boa música (com direito a Ramones!), confortável e aconchegante. Adoramos!

we were 7 of us .This bar offers a fantastic atmosphere with a laid-back vibe, making it perfect for hanging out with friends. The drinks are reasonably priced, ensuring you can enjoy a great time without breaking the bank. My son and I randomly walked in and we are sure glad we did. We immediately felt welcomed and right at home. Cheap cold beer, great food, excellent service. The place is incredibly clean, with a dive bar vibe. We met a lot of great folks, locals and tourists alike, including Adam the owner, who was fun to talk to. We actually returned again after our show at the Palladium before we caught the bus back home. We will certainly be back! Loved everything about Local 42.

You can't beat the price of the cold beer and food. Tap IPA was delicious, I didn't expect that. We ordered pizza, hoping for it to be OK, and it was the best pizza we had in NY. Place is very clean, safe, there is a lot of locals and place to sit. We loved it and strongly recommend it!

Three words (to start): Peanut Butter Tequila.
When I say this was easily one of the best bars I have been to, that is not a light statement. I've traveled the US and part of Europe; this is a top spot for sure.
Adam was so easy and fun to talk to and was super knowledgeable about the products. It was a comfy spot, pours great pint, and has a wonderful spirits selection.
We went in for a pint or two before a show and (also) ended up with peanut butter tequila... I hate peanut butter. I loved this tequila.
Moral? Go visit Local 42, you won't be disappointed; have a shot of that PB tequila in our honor! Sláinte!

Cheap drinks, kind staff, unique decor, and a good time made up for a bad experience with another establishment up a couple blocks. Truly what a refreshing experience. Even when I found a little bug in my drinks and brought my complaint and drink back to the bartender and asked if she could make a new one, she paid close attention to solving the problem. She made me a new drink and it was delicious! We are definitely hoping to come back. Can't wait!

Such a great bar and the service, beer and food were excellent.
From the outside, the bar doesn’t look very impressive, but inside, it’s clean, well furnished and well designed.
Our server Annie was super friendly and the beers were great.
We tried a starter of fried pickles which were delicious and a must try.
