It is so great to find a local shop, staffed by the artisans, and featuring quality products at reasonable prices. LocalShops1 features products from many local artists, and I was impressed by how the artist who was there when I visited was knowledgeable on all of the products. When a customer wanted something different, she called the artist on the spot. This place reminded me of what St Pete used to be, local artists committed to quality products. It happens to also be located in beautiful Gulfport, which I was reminded is a treat to visit after more than 10 years since my prior visit. If you are in the area, allow time to visit and shop...you will be amazed by the quality and quantity of art and products in this shop!

I love this little shop in the heart of Gulfport. Anything that you buy here is from a local artist or producer. You will not find anything here that is mass produced or in a big box store! Love seeing Soiree' wine jellies, Creative Chaos art, Jade soaps, and H Family Farmstead products! Perfect place to find gifts - or something for yourself. Oh -- and you can also find Le' Ann's Cheesecakes there.

This is an awesome little shop. It features a collection of handmade items by local artist. Everything in the shop is unique and well crafted. It’s the perfect spot to pickup a gift for that special someone or yourself! I am thrilled to have found a shop in Gulfport that supports local artist. The artist and staff are friendly and helpful.

As a new resident artist in 2018 @ LocalShops1, I'm enjoying all the tourists, part time residents and Gulfport locals who are frequenting the shop, stopping by to say hello. There are new items/artists being added regularly. I love watching the talents emerge!

LocalShops1 has a great selection of LOCAL small businesses and artists that they represent, which is great for when I need a new summer shirt or a gift for a birthday/special occasion (and yeah, myself too)! Cheesecakes in a jar, jewelry, candles, soaps, tea cups - they have it all!

Go to Tuesdays farmers market from 9am to 3pm all year long good market
