This is a horrific Union and I will be sure to remain vocal about their mishandling of a union member. They allowed my family member to repeatedly receive unfair treatment from harassment to eventually losing their position, without any assistance at all. Never stepped in to mediate or find a solution. Even the hearing was mishandled when my family member pushed back against the termination. They refused to disclose the information they had about the harassment taking place with my family member and other employees. They must be in cahoots with the company or local leadership. They also had my family member sign a form under duress and mt family member was unaware this would list them as permanently ineligible for re-hire at any location. The end result of this Union’s poor support and general lack of action and accountability has now put my family member and their children’s entire livelihood in jeopardy. False records are now being sent to other employers and preventing them from earning income elsewhere. Shame on this union for their failure to represent a union member appropriately.
