Fairly good menu, with apps, burgers, sandwiches, salads, bowls, and wings. The inside is nothing special, but there are plenty of TVs to watch sports or events. Serving staff was very nice and friendly, but seemed to be a little understaffed when we went there.

The food at Local 706 was a 10 out of 10! I ordered the Mediterranean bowl and it was absolutely delicious! It was seasoned well and the portion was more than enough. The service could've been a bit more welcoming but no complaints on the food!

The Local 706 is an interesting mixture of the old and the new, the tried and true versus the experimental. This visit was my second time and just like the first meal, I wanted to like this restaurant. But my second meal was not as good as the first.

Menu had lots of food that sounded appetizing! BUT waited 1 1/2 hours for our meals (3 of us) and they NEVER came! Others came after us and were served?!? First time I have ever walked out of a restaurant without eating! Can’t rate the food because we didn’t get any! Won’t go back!

If I could give less than one star then I would. We got to the restaurant at 5 pm and didn’t get food and drinks until about 7 pm which is ridiculous. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. We got the order then and it was incorrect so we did more waiting because of that reason. I was really excited to visit because myself and boyfriend were doing a double date. I’m so disappointed in this experience. Also I felt very out of place lack of diversity our entire three hours in the restaurant. I ordered three tacos and my boyfriend ordered a sandwich with sweet potato tots. The waitress we had was also not friendly and that upset me because good customer service is super important to me.

Local 706 is my go to spot for a great burger! Hand made smash burgers & fresh fries make for a perfect post run meal during the week. The covered porch is great spot for a night out.

Nice place to grab the feel of Athens. The. Burgers are hand pressed and seasoned nicely on brioche buns with simple sides. Theres a drink menu with some pretty neat cocktails. The ambiance seems fun and inviting. Quite comfortable for a quick burger and some game watching. . Revisited this fun little spot amd ended up enjoying some of the best cheese bites I've encountered in quite some time. The wings were quite delightful! Friendly, helpful staff and a nice relaxing atmosphere!

Stopped by today because I heard it was under new ownership. What a big improvement, food was great, service was amazing. Atmosphere was really cool. I expect great things out of this place. I’ll definitely be back
