This is a lovely place to have a relaxing meal. I sat and looked out at the marina while enjoying a delicious Spinach Salad with blackened shrimp and Gin Basil Smash cocktail. Both were absolutely perfect! My waitress was very attentive and friendly. There is not a ton of parking, so you may have to walk a bit. The entrance is on the left around the patio area. Ambience was great with music that's not too loud and the right amount of seating, not too crowded. Would definitely go again.

Having a glass of Zin with AHI Tuna Bites for starters also had the Spinach Side Salad and a Mojito. Both are A+ A-licious. Highly recommend.

The Locals Eatery provides a pleasant dining experience with reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere. During my recent visit, I tried a few items from their menu and found a mix of hits and misses.

Firstly, I ordered their cheeseburger, and I must say, it was delicious. The meat was of good quality and cooked to perfection. The price was reasonable considering the portion size and the taste. However, when it came to the kids' meal, the cheeseburger didn't quite meet the same standard. While it was okay, the meat tasted like a typical frozen patty, lacking the flavor and quality of the adult version.

Similarly, the kids' chicken strips were decent but clearly made from frozen ingredients. They were acceptable, but nothing exceptional. On the brighter side, the BLFGT (Bacon, Lettuce, Fried Green Tomatoes) sandwich was a standout dish. The combination of flavors was delightful, and it was evident that care was put into its preparation.

Accompanying all the dishes were French fries, which were tasty but didn't stand out as anything extraordinary. They served their purpose well as a side, but they didn't elevate the meal significantly.

On the service front, I found the staff to be attentive and friendly, contributing positively to the overall dining experience. The location of The Locals Eatery is also commendable, with a great atmosphere that adds to the enjoyment of the meal.

In summary, while there were some minor shortcomings with certain dishes, The Locals Eatery is still a decent option for a meal out. With reasonable prices, delicious offerings like the cheeseburger and BLFGT, and good service, it's a place I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

This was our first stop after the airport. Nice spot to instantly get immersed in vacation vibe. A little tricky to find, literally a "hidden" gem. Easy parking. Walked around a bit after dining and drinking. Kept the kiddos entertained without worrying about them being lost among tourist foot traffic... there is none! Good service, pleasant staff.

Fabulous bay and sunset views, super casual, the crab topped fried green tomatoes were out of the world good, hubby says burger is excellent. Fish tacos were good. Enough gluten free options. Knowledgeable staff, quick service, plenty to watch on the marina. Indoor/outdoor covered eating. Going back for their grouper ruben and key lime pies.

Wow hidden in a cove & On the water great spot for great eats!!! The portions awesome!! enjoying appetizers- Smoked wings delicious .... sandwiches. The brisket Rubin & Philly cheese steak really good...Staff prompt service good. Recommend stopping in ?

Our new favourite spot! Amazing food and service. View is great. Love the popcorn shrimp appetizer, fries, and red fish plate! They r dog friendly, which is a huge plus for us.

Quiet place for the locals. Nice that you can come by boat which we may do next time. We shared the Ahi Tuna bites and the Fried green tomatoes and both were delicious. Would have liked to see a better selection of wine but they do have a full bar and the top shelf margarita was great!
